Welcome to my gallery!  It’s my photo journal, a way, other than in words, that I capture the images that I see daily.  These things are not all on my walls, but they mean a great deal to me.  Obviously, this will always be a work in progress, so please stop by often to see this and the other things for which I am very grateful

You know, it is only in trying to select photos from my collection for this page that I’ve realised what a fascination I have with leaves.  I don’t know if that says anything about me, but if you believe that it does, please let me know what you think.

A coffee rose hedge.  My boss donated some leafless slips to our office about five years ago.  The custodian planted and tended to them, and voila!

…there’s a silver lining.  I thank my sister for these two images.

Detail from a planter in my home. Leaves, leaves and more leaves…I don’t know who the artist is, because it was just a pretty planter that I picked up at the store to house the orchid that I bought for my mother on some special occasion.

A natural custer of leaves on a plant in my garden.

A little greenery in my office. I remember getting a job while still a student and being given my own office; the most drab place on earth!  I remember going home that evening and telling my mother about it.  I asked her for a plant from her garden and she allowed me to take a fan-shaped pot and select three plants from her collection to put into my new pot.  They were BEAUTIFUL and kept drawing my eye to them during that day.  Interestingly, they kept calling to the souls of my new coworkers also as several people came by to comment about my plants as they took pride of place on top of my filing cabinet.  Was it that I had a little bit of home with me, or was it something inherent in having life around me.  I did other improvements to that little office, but those plants, my mother’s gifts to me, will live on in my memory for the rest of my life.

I have to say that I appreciate being able to look through my windows at work and see that all is still right with the world.

Market morning at the office.

Market day (II)

“Fruitie” expanded into selling vegetables after my sister asked him why he wasn’t selling them.  It’s a good thing that they had this conversation.  This display is simply beautiful.

A little spit of land reaches beyond the Jamaican coastline.  We welcome the world.

See some beautiful African masks here… Unfortunately I own none of these. :o(

    Such a spectacularly beautiful array.

    • I agree with you my friend! God has been munificent in bestowing His bounties on me! When one stops to breathe, and one begins to count one’s blessings one feels that life is full of ENDLESS possibilities!

I like the natural cluster. It looks enticing.
